Cathy Kennedy was born and raised in southern West Virginia in McDowell County – Home of the Rocket Boys. She married her best-friend and high school sweetheart in 1979 and shortly after moved to Knoxville in the Tennessee valley.

For little more than two decades, Cathy has been blessed to be a stay-at-home mom to her three children and for the past 17-years she's been a home-school mom. To date, Cathy has successfully graduated her two oldest children and her third will graduate the family home school high in 2012.

Cathy is a newly published Children's author of, THE TALE OF OLE GREEN EYES, which is expected to be released before the end of 2010.
